A new type of coronavirus called the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) was identified in 2019 and was initially found in animals. It is now able to be transmitted from animals to humans and then spread from person to person. It appears that symptoms are showing up in people within 2-14 days of exposure to the virus. As of now, there is not a specific treatment for the virus. The COVID-19 is said to have appeared in Wuhan, China in December 2019. Health officials say the source of the COVID-19 is from a seafood market in Wuhan, a city in China. People that visited the market developed pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus (COVID-19). Here is a funny twist. The first reported case of someone becoming sick from the COVID-19 was Dec 1, 2019 and they had no link to the seafood market that the health officials stated was the origin of the virus. Some would argue that it is a bio chemical weapon and that the seafood market story is a cover up. Growing numbers of cases of community spread suggest that in America the virus may be circulating more widely than case numbers might indicate. Please be sure you are putting your Heath First!
